Beat License Agreement

• License Grant

  Purchasing a beat grants the buyer a license to use the beat in a new musical composition.

  The producer retains full copyright ownership of the beat.

• Permitted Uses

  The licensee may record, distribute and perform a new song using the beat according to the terms of the purchased license.

• Producer Credit

  The producer must be credited in all releases.

  Example credit:
  Produced by L3araba

• Monetization

  The licensee may monetize the new song through streaming platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube according to the limits of the purchased license.

• Content ID

  Registration of the beat or new song in YouTube Content ID or other digital fingerprinting systems is only allowed for Exclusive licenses.

• License Upgrade

  If the new song exceeds the usage limits of the purchased license, the licensee must upgrade to a higher license tier.

• Ownership

  The producer remains the copyright owner of the beat and underlying composition.

  The licensee owns only the lyrics and original elements added to the new song.

• Breach

  Violation of the license terms may result in termination of the license and removal of the song from distribution platforms.

FAQ

• Can I upload to Spotify/Apple Music?

  Yes. All licenses allow streaming releases. Limits depend on the license tier.

• Can I use YouTube Content ID?

  Only with the Exclusive License. Other licenses are non-exclusive, so Content ID would block other artists.

• What if my song goes viral?

  You must upgrade the license if you exceed your tier limits.
